A bit about Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club

Box Hill Rugby Club was founded 1959, moved to their current location at Sparks Reserve in 1969 and has produced

• 2 Australian Representatives
• 6 Australian Junior Representatives
• 3 Australian Women's Representatives

We field a number of sides competing in and around Melbourne including

• 1st Grade
• 2nd Grade
• Women's Team
• Under 8's to Colts
• Unquenchables (Veterans)

and all teams train at Sparks Reserve in Box Hill as follows:

• Tuesday Night - Grade Teams, Colts and Women
• Wednesday Night - Under-8's to Under 18's
• Thursday Night - Grade Teams, Colts, Women and Unquenchables

Club Amenities

Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club has two fully secure, well manicured Rugby grounds available for use with extra training areas available on adjoining soccer grounds.  All are frequently watered and immaculately maintained by Whitehorse City Council and none of the grounds contain cricket pitches.

Full use of ground facilities is available including:

• 4 changing rooms
• 2 shower rooms
• Solid Lock up Facilities for equipment
• Excellent Night Lighting
• Ample Parking areas for supporters and busses
• Barbeque, Spit Roast and Full Bar Facilities

• The Bar
• Changing Rooms

Comprehensive Pool and Gym facilities are available nearby at Box Hill Swimming and Recreation centre.  Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club have made arrangements with the recreation facilities management to provide for private sessions for any team using Box Hill Rugby Club facilities.

Similar arrangements have also been catered for regarding accommodation at The Tudor Inn which is situated less than 2Km from the ground.

For Your Supporters

Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club is also in a position to cater for your teams supporters. The Ground can be fenced off with a natural amphitheatre from which supporters can watch their team train and play. Ample parking facilities are also available.

Social functions including a Rugby 10's competition, and Internationally flavoured over 35's competition, Junior Rugby competitions, Barbeques, Spit Roasts and Full Bar facilities are just some of the benefits at your disposal.

Organised tours of Melbourne and surrounding areas are also available.
