Bartalk spoke to Tony Laycock this week. He is searching for a 1xv team manager and 2nd grade coach. Equally important is the quest for a replacement for Paul Moran who has announced that pressure of selection duties on a Saturday arvo are now beyond him. It is time for someone to put their individual or collective hands up to take over the roles of team manger, water bottle filler, selector, subs collector and alcohol provider. Even Anne has called it quits so do we have to resort to Brownie being our masseuse?

Terry Mclennan also spoke to Bartalk and is looking to bring another of his Russian fillies to our matches. Perhaps she could take on the role of maaaeuse?

Simon Mother dropped in for a pre season trot. If Simon is around this early in the season he must be really serious about playing.

Brett just one year with the Unquenchables has been offered a contract up north, rumoured to be with the QLD Reds. Jiff, upon hearing of Brett’s good fortune has started ringing for any interest in his own talents. So far, no takers.
