It was a quiet night at the club bar due no doubt to Easter Friday being the next day. The good thing about it was that you didn’t have to stand two deep and wait 10 minutes to be served. Efficiency reigned supreme. Chris Markey and Martin were bar tenders for the night. Kevin Heath put in an appearance as did Grant Mahoney proudly sporting his Bangkok Vets competition jersey. Ric Makin is making a determined effort to get fit and top his best season last year. Our erstwhile treasurer (who never has his credit card machine with him) was seen at the bar as was Paul and Francois. Chris Markey still appears to be battling the bulge. Perhaps he thinks a little beer pulling will help the cause. Also at the bar were World Golden Mile champion Stuart Ramsden seen talking to Fast Eddie, Dennis, who promises to score a bag of tries this year if he ever gets passed the ball, Step Back Burdett, a somewhat pensive Jiff and Wasa who just dropped in for a top up.
